Party Hour Party Time

We have a couple of events coming up in the Bush Twins Party Hour world. You should be there.

Sunday, June 3: Pole Party Fundraiser

6pm 'til whenever at Jenny's place (call or email for the address)

Karaoke, alcohol, pole dancing... does the Bush Twins Party Hour know how to throw a party or what?!

Suggested donation is $10 in advance via PayPal (address: jennypurple @ yahoo dot com) or cash, or $12 cash at the door.

All proceeds go to....

Sunday, June 10: A super-special invite-only event!

For various tedious reasons, all I can post here right now is that it's going to be in Hollywood, and it's going to be in the late afternoon, and that it has a little something to do with something recently mentioned in this very blog.

Free that afternoon, or just plain curious? Pop your address into the handy-dandy box at www.bushtwinspartyhour.com, and we'll send you the details.

I'd insert the customary "WOOOOO!!" here, but I don't want to scare the cat.

The Inchoate New Day Gig

This past Friday, I started a new day job-type thingy. I'm the... um... digital content manager? web content specialist? The only word on which everyone can agree is "content". Let's go with "content aggregation maven" for now, and update as things coalesce.

I'm working for Ovation, a cable/satellite arts network which is about to have a much cooler site. It's a two-month contract to start, and we'll see how it goes from there.

Many thanks to everyone who's sent me job leads over the past couple of months... they've been greatly appreciated, and I may be hitting you up again soon. But for now, I'm set.

I think.

Assuming I ever figure out what exactly it is I'm doing.

But, hey -- at least I have a legitimate excuse to use "inchoate".

A Superfluous Note Re: Television Production

If you're on a production crew, a one-camera location shoot means a long, busy day.

If you're in the cast, it's a long day, period.

I don't mean to kvetch. I'm thrilled that we're shooting this pilot, and we have a phenomenal crew. I learned a ton about framing shots, lighting, sound -- all the crucial stuff we actors tend to take for granted -- just from watching.

I'm also inexplicably tired from two days of sitting around on my ass.

Glamour, schmamour.

But, hell -- there are worse things from which to be tired, and the final project is going to be amazing. If you're going to be in the L.A. area on June 10 and want to find out how to be part of the action, email me or go to bushtwinspartyhour.com and sign up for the update list.

It'll be very.
